Rogelio Castillo

Rogelio Castillo has held key leadership roles in two prominent organizations. Rogelio is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the European Football Group, a position they assumed in November 2022. Prior to this, they spent seven years at Black Square Group, where they served as both a Partner and the Chief Executive Officer. Castillo began their tenure at Black Square Group in September 2015 and left in September 2022.

Rogelio Castillo graduated from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) that focused on International Finance and Business Marketing. In terms of certifications, they earned a Level 3 Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor certification from New Skills Academy in September 2017. Rogelio went on to obtain numerous other certifications, including The Art of Negotiation from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business in June 2020, Negotiation Strategies from Yale University in May 2021, and Fundamentals of Global Sports Management from New York University in November 2022. Just recently, in February 2023, Castillo became SafeSport Trained through the U.S. Center for SafeSport. Additionally, they received a certification in Strategic Management and Innovation from the Copenhagen Business School in October 2020 and completed a course on The Science of Well Being at Yale University in September 2020.
