Siebe Briers

Siebe Briers is a Junior Researcher at the European Forest Institute since November 2020, previously serving as a Research & Project Assistant. Early experience includes a student job focused on sustainable forest management at Franssens, Jeroen, and internships at Instagreen, where economic analyses for microgreen products were conducted, and Urban Crop Solutions, where automation projects for vertical farming were managed. A background in sustainable forestry was gained through an internship at Maderas Nalcahue Limitada, emphasizing value chain analysis. Siebe Briers holds a Master's degree in Bioscience Engineering and a Postgraduate degree in Innovative Entrepreneurship from KU Leuven, complemented by participation in the International Program Innovation Experience Israel.
