Alexandra Breukel

Alexandra Breukel is an experienced professional in the medical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Lead Knowledge at the European Hematology Association since December 2023. Previously, as Managing Director of the European NeuroMuscular Centre from February 2014 to October 2023, Alexandra focused on enhancing collaboration in rare neuromuscular disorders. Prior roles include ownership of DeFarmaCoach, where individual and team coaching was provided to pharmaceutical professionals, and various positions at Roche Nederland B.V. that encompassed team management and medical marketing in oncology and CNS. Earlier experiences at GSK and Organon Pharmaceuticals involved managing clinical research projects and developing candidate antidepressants. Alexandra holds a PhD in Neurochemistry from the University of Amsterdam and a Drs in Neuroscience from Leiden University.
