Maria Romero is an accomplished consultant and coach with extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Consultant at The World Bank since October 2021, Maria also shares expertise as an Expert Coach for the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency, supporting initiatives like the EIC Accelerator and the EIC Women Leadership Program. In addition, Maria co-founded CoThrive in early 2025, focusing on AI-driven opportunities, and has held a partnership role at efino since October 2019, addressing startup equity gaps and enhancing employee engagement. Previous experience includes coaching for InvestHorizon and training in High Performance Leadership at IMD.
