Samira Nik, PhD, currently serves as Programme Manager for Quantum Tech and Electronics at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) since April 2022. Prior to this role, Samira founded and directed NIK CONSULTING SRL and was a Senior Manager in Norming & Standardisation at the European Federation for Construction Chemicals. Experience also includes project management roles at CEN and CENELEC and imec, along with R&D management at Silex Microsystems, focusing on EU project management in nano-electronics. Samira completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Chalmers University of Technology, where research concentrated on organic solar cells and superconducting quantum computers, and earned a PhD in Materials Science from the same institution. Education further includes advanced management training from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in materials engineering.
