Alaleh Motamedi is an experienced procurement professional with significant expertise in investment project procurement and policy review. Currently serving as Head of Procurement at the European Investment Bank since January 2014, Alaleh has previously held roles such as Deputy Head of Procurement and Senior Procurement Specialist. Prior to joining the EIB, Alaleh worked at the World Bank for nearly a decade, contributing to procurement policy reviews, public procurement reforms in various countries, and complex procurement case management. Alaleh's earlier experience includes freelance consulting, focusing on procurement reviews across multiple countries. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Mechanical Civil Engineering from Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, and two MBAs from Audencia and Euro*MBA.
