Annija Senakola

Annija Senakola is an experienced communication professional with a strong background in public relations, project coordination, and media relations. Since April 2019, Annija has served as the Executive Assistant to the Director of the Communication Department at the European Investment Bank. Prior to this role, Annija worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia from March 2013 to November 2017, focusing on diaspora policy and communication with global Latvian diaspora organizations. Annija's earlier experience includes positions at the Ministry of Culture in Latvia, Riga City Council, and various cultural organizations, where responsibilities encompassed media relations, communication strategies, and project management. Annija holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Latvijas Universitate, obtained in 2007.
