Ellen Boersma

Ellen Boersma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in real estate portfolio management, sustainability, and climate advisory services. Currently serving as the Head of the Real Estate Portfolio Management Unit at the European Investment Bank since August 2019, Ellen also holds a position at the International Monetary Fund focused on climate advisory services and is an independent member of the Investment Committee at PDENH. As Managing Director of FYN, a consultancy promoting sustainable value creation, Ellen advises businesses on impact management, ESG, and energy transition. Previous roles include Director of NSenergy, where responsibility encompassed sustainable energy project development for the National Dutch Railways, and ADA advisor in corporate and real estate law. Ellen has pursued advanced studies, including an MBA in Public Private from Nyenrode Business University and certifications in corporate governance.
