Janis Rusis

Janis Rusis is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate lending, project finance, and regulatory matters at the European Investment Bank since September 2018. Prior to this role, Janis served as an Associate at COBALT Legal, focusing on Banking & Finance, EU Competition, and Trade & Investment. Janis has also gained valuable experience as a trainee at Berwin Leighton Paisner, a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission, and through internships at the Court of Justice of the European Union, Attorneys at Law Borenius, and the European Parliament. Janis holds a Master's Degree in Law from the College of Europe and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southampton, coupled with an Erasmus program at Nantes Université. Educational background includes formative years at the American International School in Vienna.
