Joes Leopold

Joes Leopold is a seasoned financial and strategic adviser with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Since March 2013, Joes has served as Managing Director at Capitium, providing financial consultancy and project management. Joes holds multiple significant positions, including Member of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Risk Policy Committee at the European Investment Bank since December 2018, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Airwallex (Netherlands) B.V. since April 2021. Previously, Joes was CFO of SPEAR Investments I, playing a pivotal role in its merger with QEV Technologies in October 2023, and has held supervisory board positions at Mollie and SNS REAAL. Joes began a career in finance at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and progressed through leadership roles at major institutions such as Citi and ING. Joes holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Groningen, complemented by earlier education at The College of Wooster and Lorentz Lyceum.
