Linda Chirila

Linda Chirila serves as the Head of Group and Mandates Reporting at the European Investment Bank since October 2025. Prior to this role, Linda was the Head of Operations at HSBC from July 2019 to October 2025, where responsibilities included leading a large cross-continental team and spearheading business transformation initiatives focused on compliance with the Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation. Linda's career at HSBC also encompassed positions such as Director in the CEO office, where strategic risk management was prioritized, and Director of European Solutions Structuring, specializing in bespoke structured trade finance transactions. Earlier experience includes a role at PwC as a Senior Associate in Audit and Assurance. Linda holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from McGill University. Additionally, Linda is pursuing a program on negotiation at Harvard Law School.
