Mathieu Haulon

Mathieu Haulon is a Technical Assistance Officer at the European Investment Bank (EIB) since December 2018, focusing on the preparation, procurement, and management of Technical Assistance projects to bolster EIB's operations. Prior to this role, Mathieu served as Project Director at SAFEGE - CONSULTING from May 2016 to November 2018, where responsibility included managing large technical assistance projects in the environment, water, and transport sectors, along with financial management and budget monitoring. Previous positions at SAFEGE between 2008 and 2016 involved senior project management and project management roles, supporting the implementation and tender preparation for international donor-funded projects. Early career experiences included roles at WYG International, Nottingham University, and the REVOLSO Project, concentrating on agricultural research and sustainable practices. Mathieu holds a PhD in Agriculture Sciences and Soil Management from Justus Liebig University Giessen and an MSc in Agriculture and Environment from Ecole de PURPAN.
