Alex Matoso

Alex Matoso is an experienced professional currently serving as the Equity Product Development & Strategy Coordinator at the European Investment Fund since January 2023. Previously, Alex held the role of Business Development Executive at Cornelder Holding B.V. from January 2018 to December 2022, focusing on sustainable growth and startup development across Europe and Southeast Africa, particularly in logistics, maritime, health and safety, and environmental services. Alex was also a Founding Board Member and Vice-President of the Dutch Mozambican Chamber of Commerce, promoting economic relations between the Netherlands and Mozambique. With a solid background in finance and operational management, Alex has worked in various capacities, including Assistant Manager at Samsung SDS and Senior Corporate Accountant at Prologis. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Diploma in Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
