Bernardo Ghilardi

Bernardo Ghilardi has over two decades of experience in finance and investment, currently serving as Director and Head of Central Services Department at the European Investment Fund since October 2010. His roles at the EIF have included leadership positions in strategy coordination, product development, and regional mandates, alongside senior risk management responsibilities. In September 2024, Bernardo took on the role of Class A Manager at both the Asset Management Umbrella Fund General Partner S.à r.l. and Sustainable Development Umbrella Fund General Partner S.à r.l. Prior to the EIF, Bernardo worked at Banca IMI as an ABS Structurer and held positions at Fitch Ratings and BPV Finance International Plc. Bernardo holds a Master's Degree in International Finance from Università di Pavia and a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Management from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
