Francesco Battazzi

Francesco Battazzi has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of Division for Private Credit at the European Investment Fund since April 2009. In this role, Francesco also leads the Diversified Debt Funds (Private Debt) team and oversees Analytics & New Products. Prior to this, Francesco worked at Morgan Stanley from January 2007 to April 2009 in Fixed Income - FIG Credit Solutions. Additionally, Francesco held the position of Head of ABS Structuring at Capitalia from October 1999 to December 2006. Francesco earned a Master's degree in Economics from Università degli Studi di Perugia and attended The University of Sheffield in 1994.
