Helmut Kraemer-Eis

Dr. Helmut Kraemer-Eis is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Chief Economist and Head of Impact Assessment at the European Investment Fund (EIF) since April 2009. Prior to this role, Dr. Kraemer-Eis held the position of Head of Research & Market Analysis at EIF and led Risk Management, Guarantees and Securitisation from July 2002 to March 2009. Dr. Kraemer-Eis began a career at KfW, where responsibilities included Senior Manager for Business Policy, Banks and Financial Institutions, as well as serving as a Researcher and Project Manager in the Economic Research Department from July 1999 to June 2002. Dr. Kraemer-Eis holds an academic background from The University of Bonn.
