Kriss Spulis

Kriss Spulis serves as the Head of Energy Infrastructure Funds Investments at the European Investment Fund (EIF), leading a team focused on fund-of-funds investments in the green energy transition sector. With a robust background as a Senior Investment Manager, Kriss has successfully led over 50 fund-of-fund investments, totaling more than EUR 1 billion in commitments across Europe. In addition to current roles, Kriss holds advisory board positions at multiple firms, including imec.xpand, Contrarian Ventures, Innovation Industries, Odyssey Venture Partners, IP Group plc, Speedinvest, Lakestar, Keensight Capital, and Vesalius Biocapital III, providing strategic advice on fund performance and conflict resolution. Educational credentials include an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola in collaboration with the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
