Currently serving as a Senior Scientific Officer at the European Medicines Agency since March 2002, Chapelin leads product teams focused on pre-authorisation oncology safety and efficacy, providing scientific advice and protocol assistance for oncology products. Additionally, Chapelin oversees pharmacovigilance and post-authorisation activities for anti-infectives. Prior experience includes roles at the ANSM, where Chapelin worked as a Clinical Assessor, and involvement in agricultural research related to cocoa at the International Cooperation Center for Agronomic Research for Development. Chapelin holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's degree in Methodology and Statistics of Clinical Trials from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University Montpellier.
