Andrea Renda

Andrea Renda is a distinguished academic and policy expert with extensive experience in digital policy and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as a part-time Professor at the European University Institute since September 2020, Renda organizes seminars and executive courses within the Digital policy cluster. Renda is also a member of the International Advisory Board for the European Parliament's STOA and has held the position of Director of Research at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) since 2005, where prior roles included Head of Regulatory Affairs. Additional appointments include serving as a CITI Fellow at Columbia University, a member of the European Commission's High-Level Expert Group on AI, and Chair for Digital Innovation at the College of Europe. Renda's academic background includes an education from Luiss Guido Carli University, completed in 1995.
