Attila Benedek is a seasoned public servant currently serving as a Senior EP staffer at the European Parliament since January 2005, focusing on various Parliamentary Committees, notably TRAN and AFET. With over 13 years of advisory experience, Attila has been instrumental in drafting and leading the legislative process for more than 20 legislative dossiers. Prior to this role, Attila held the position of Assistant Professor at the Economics College of Szolnok, leading EU-related studies and coordinating the EU department. A former Director at the European Union Information Centre, Attila played a key role in developing the communication strategy for Hungary's EU accession and establishing a significant information database. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Automotive Industry from TU Wien and a Master's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from Corvinus University of Budapest, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the College for Foreign Trade in Budapest.
