Carsten Meeners-Horn

Carsten Meeners-Horn is an experienced professional in interinstitutional affairs and transparency, currently serving as Administrative Manager in the DG PRES at the European Parliament since October 2014. Previously, Carsten held the position of Geschäftsführer and Head of Office at the Deutscher Bundestag from January 2007 to September 2014, after serving as Büroleiter for Karin Jöns MdEP at the European Parliament from September 2001 to December 2006. Early career experience includes roles as a student assistant for the SPD-Fraktion in the Bürgerschaft Bremen, a referent at the Landtag Nordrhein-Westfalen, and a Werbekaufmann at Agentur Brinkmann GmbH. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in European Administrative Management from The Berlin School of Economics and Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Bremen, and a certificate in Performance Studies also from the University of Bremen.
