Francis Storms

Chief Transmission Operator - Commissioned By EBP at European Parliament

Francis Storms has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Francis started their career in 1991 as the CEO of NetWerkAVF and then went on to work as an Independent Media Management Consultant at skynet i-motion Activities NV from 2009 to 2010. Francis also worked as a Technical Director at Euro1080, where they were responsible for technical and operational aspects of the company. Francis later moved on to positions such as Assistant Integrator at BeTV and RTBF. In 2010, they joined Skynet iMotion Activities as a Media Production Monitoring and Support Consultant. In 2014, they became the Chief Transmission Operator at the European Parliament, commissioned by EBP. Throughout their career, Francis has also worked as a technical and operational consultant at CDN and as the owner of Faucibus.

Francis Storms completed their Diploma in Biotechnical studies at Institute: VTI Aalst from 1986 to 1987. Francis also obtained a Graduaat degree in Communication from VTI Aalst between 1981 and 1985. Additionally, Francis obtained a Diploma in Electronics Telecommunication long cycles from Institute: VTI Leuven, although no specific dates were provided for this degree. In terms of additional certifications, Francis has completed courses such as "How to Speak So People Want to Listen," "What Is the Metaverse?", "Building Trust," and "Installing and Running WordPress: Shared Hosting" through LinkedIn.
