Irene Tinagli

Chair Of The Special Committee On The Housing Crisis In The EU

Irene Tinagli is a distinguished member of the European Parliament since July 2019, currently serving as the Chair of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee. With extensive experience in both academic and political spheres, Irene was a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum starting in March 2010. Past roles include Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Justice of Italy from July 2015 to March 2018, and Member of the Italian Parliament at the Camera dei Deputati from March 2013 to March 2018. Additionally, Irene contributed as an Assistant Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and as a Columnist for La Stampa. Educational credentials include a PhD in Innovation Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a Global Leadership and Public Policy degree from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Irene co-founded Creativity Group Europe, providing research and consulting on regional development and innovation policies.
