Irina Kubinschi

Irina Kubinschi is an experienced legal and policy professional currently serving as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament since December 2024. Prior to this role, Irina held the position of Manager of Government Affairs and Public Policy at MedTech Europe from January 2023 to December 2024. Between November 2018 and January 2023, Irina was a Senior Legal and Policy Officer at the Smoke Free Partnership, and previously worked as a Legal Policy Intern at EMMA - European Magazine Media Association. Irina's early career included roles as a Legal Intern at the European Newspaper Publishers Association and as a Trainee at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the EU, where support was provided for council works related to state aid and competition law. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws (LLM) in European Law from Leiden University and a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Bucharest.
