Lara Wolters

Lara Wolters is a current Member of the European Parliament representing the PvdA/NL Labour Party, serving on the Legal Affairs and Budgetary Control Committees and acting as a substitute member of the Culture & Education Committee since July 2019. Prior to this role, Lara Wolters was a Policy Advisor for the Socialists and Democrats Group in the European Parliament, advising on Employment and Social Affairs from April 2018 to July 2019. Additional experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor for PvdA Eurodelegatie, Manager of Government Relations at Norton Rose Fulbright, EU Public Affairs Consultant at Afore Consulting, and Political Assistant in the EU Policy Unit for the Party of European Socialists. Early experience includes a traineeship at the European Parliament. Lara Wolters holds degrees in International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe, Singing and Performance from VocalTech London, European Social and Political Studies and Law from UCL, and completed an Erasmus year at Sciences-Po Strasbourg.
