Rita Cappelli

Rita Cappelli is a seasoned professional in translation and language services, currently serving as a Proofreader-Editor at the European Parliament since August 2023. With extensive experience at the European Commission as a Translator from January 2019 to July 2023, and a background as a Translator, Reviser, and Subtitler at the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union from February 2016 to December 2018, Rita has demonstrated proficiency in multiple languages, including Italian, English, German, and Polish. Rita has also held positions as a Professor at the University of Macerata and as a Translator and Interpreter at Congress Frankfurt during EXPO 2015. Educational qualifications include a Degree in Legal Translation from the University of Genoa and an MA in Conference Interpreting from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna.
