Sébastien Dupont

Sébastien Dupont is a skilled Cloud and Security Operations Specialist at the European Parliament since April 2024, responsible for managing cloud-based operations, enhancing security, and promoting efficiency through automation. Prior to this role, Sébastien served as a Computer Science Lecturer at HELMo Haute Ecole, focusing on cloud security. With extensive experience at CETIC as an Expert Research Engineer, expertise in distributed infrastructures emphasizing security and resilience was developed, as well as a background in cloud technologies as a Senior Research Engineer. Sébastien also held key positions at Soylent Comics, Koemei, Alfea Consulting, Smals, and Sword Technologies, contributing to diverse projects in IT consulting, engineering management, and functional analysis. Sébastien holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Université libre de Bruxelles, obtained between 1999 and 2004.
