João Pedro Silva

João Pedro Silva is a seasoned Nature Conservation and Biodiversity Consultant with extensive experience since 1997, including recent consultancy work for the European Commission on EU biodiversity policy and the LIFE Programme evaluation. João has held significant roles as an Environmental Impact Assessment consultant, Principal Consultant at Logika Group, and Senior Consultant at the Stockholm Environment Institute, focusing on green transition assessments. In addition, João serves as an Expert Evaluator for Horizon 2020 projects and lectures on EU Environmental and Climate Action policy. An expert in Strategic Environmental Assessment, significant contributions include work on Bosnia and Herzegovina's Environmental Strategy. Education includes a PhD in Evolution Biology and Biodiversity and relevant postgraduate studies in phytosociology and plant sciences.
