Emmanuelle Berret

Emmanuelle Berret is an experienced project manager currently working at the European Respiratory Society since March 2020, with a background as an Associate Project Manager in a clinical setting. Prior to this role, Emmanuelle served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at EPFL from April 2016 to December 2019, focusing on amygdalian circuits and mechanisms in fear conditioning. Emmanuelle also held a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where research centered on neuron-glia interactions and the role of myelination in synaptic transmission. Emmanuelle earned a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Université Laval, where earlier studies included a Master's in Neurosciences and Endocrinology and a Bachelor's in Applied Biology from various universities in France.
