Marieke Duiverman

Marieke Duiverman is a pulmonary physician/researcher with extensive experience in various medical institutions. Currently serving as the Secretary of the non-invasive ventilatory support group at the European Respiratory Society, Marieke has a strong background in COPD, chronic respiratory failure, sleep medicine, interstitial lung diseases, and lung transplantation. With a Ph.D. from the University of Groningen, Marieke has conducted research on topics such as mechanisms of action and effects on cardiac function in stable hypercapnic COPD patients.
