Peter Gittins

Adviser Consultant at European School

Peter Gittins is currently an adviser consultant at the European School. Peter was previously a clinical professor at the University of St. Thomas from September 2012 to July 2018. Prior to that, they were a visiting assistant professor at St. Olaf College from August 2009 to July 2012. Peter also served as an assistant professor of chemistry at Carleton College from September 2008 to August 2009 and at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota from September 2005 to June 2008. Additionally, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Sheffield from December 2003 to July 2004, where they focused on the controlled synthesis of functional hyperbranched polymers as models of natural systems such as enzymes and light harvesting complexes. Peter has also held positions as a laboratory technician at Medallion Labs from June 2000 to December 2000 and as a data analyst at GE Capital from June 1999 to October 1999.

Peter Gittins attended Lancaster University, where they obtained their MChem in Chemistry. Peter then went on to The University of Sheffield to complete their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry.
