Sophio Bazadze graduated with honors from the Faculty of European Languages ​​and Literature of the State University, majoring in English Language and Literature.

In 2009 he defended his doctoral dissertation on "English Pre-Raphaelite and Elgernon Charles Swinburne".

Sophio Bazadze worked as a senior teacher at the English Language Department of Akaki Tsereteli State University in 1997-2003 as well as at the Department of History of Foreign Literature. In the same years he worked as a senior English teacher at the State Institute of International Relations; He was a member of the Newport-Kutaisi International Association, a translator.

In 2003-2006, Sophio Bazadze taught Business English at the State Institute of Business. In the same years he worked as a teacher of English language and literature at Ekvtime Takaishvili State University of Culture and Arts. Later he was an English teacher at the State University of Economic Relations, as well as an assistant professor at the Language Center of Ilia State University and the Rustaveli State University of Theater and Film.

In the following years, Sophio Bazadze taught at the Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), and since 2012 has been an associate professor at Caucasus University.

She started working as an English teacher at the European School in 2007 and was the Head of the English Language Department, and later the Coordinator of the International Undergraduate Basic Program.

Sophio Bazadze has been the director of the European School since 2017.

Sophio Bazadze has passed IB international trainings in Istanbul, Athens. She has received various international certificates (English Book in Georgia, Macmillan Education). a Fulbright (Fulbright American Studies Institutes) and the scholarship program in 2001, studied at the New found at Buffalo State University , where he worked on development of a program of American literature. She has received a Certificate from the Department of Education and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State from the Western and Eastern Women Network.

In 2010-2011, Sophio Bazadze completed the Teacher Development Program CELTA in the United Kingdom (New College Nottingham). In addition, it annually participates in various international conferences (USA, Poland, Indonesia, Turkey). Supervises the preparation of students' undergraduate and graduate theses, is a reviewer of dissertations. He has published 28 scientific works and one monograph.
