Bharati Shivalkar

Bharati Shivalkar currently serves as Senior Director of Global Medical Affairs for Rare Cardiology at Pfizer, leading strategic educational initiatives and cross-functional teams across the EU and IDM region. Previously held the position of Country Medical Director for Belgium-Luxembourg, where transformational changes were implemented for medical affairs teams. Bharati also engages as a Board Member for the FEMale project at Aarhus University, focuses on women's heart health as a Consultant Cardiologist at Delta Hospital, and is involved with various cardiovascular and women's health organizations, including EACVI and EIWH. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Cardiology from KU Leuven, Bharati has also contributed to education as a Professor at Universiteit Antwerpen.
