Dr Aung Myat M.D. Facc Fesc

Dr. Aung Myat, MD, FACC, FESC, serves as the Medical Director for Cardiology at Medpace since July 2021, where responsibilities include leading medical monitoring for various clinical trials and supporting the development of trial protocols and safety reviews. Dr. Myat holds fellowships with the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology, and serves as the Lead Series Editor for Oxford University Press's Challenging Concepts Series. A former Course Director for multiple national symposia under the British Cardiovascular Society, Dr. Myat has also contributed as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and as a Section Editor for BMJ. Educationally, Dr. Myat earned a Doctor of Medicine from King's College London and holds numerous qualifications in cardiology and internal medicine.
