Marina Bersaoui

Marina Bersaoui is a seasoned professional in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, currently serving as the EAPC Young Community Ambassador with the European Society of Cardiology since April 2019. As a co-founder and board treasurer of the AdeKUS Alumni Association and a lecturer and researcher at Anton de Kom University, Marina specializes in teaching courses related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Ownership of ActiveHealth Rehab & Physio Clinic demonstrates a commitment to promoting optimal health and active lifestyles. Furthermore, participation as a physical therapist with the Surinamese football club Robinhood and the Ministry of Health of Suriname reflects dedication to sports medicine. Marina has also completed specialization internships in cardiac and obesity rehabilitation at KU Leuven and holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Exercise & Rehabilitation Sciences, showcasing a strong academic foundation complemented by practical experience.
