Piotr Szymański

Piotr Szymański serves as the Chairman of the Regulatory Affairs Committee of the European Society of Cardiology for the term of 2024-2026, responsible for leading regulatory engagement with European institutions and shaping the organization's regulatory agenda. Szymański holds multiple leadership roles within the European Society of Cardiology, including membership in the Digital Cardiology & Artificial Intelligence Committee and the Advocacy Committee, and is recognized as a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. Additionally, Szymański contributes to various organizations, such as the Polish Cardiac Society, where roles include Board Member and Chair of the Regulatory Affairs Committee. Academic involvement includes a professorship at the Postgraduate Medical School and leadership in the Polish Congress of Echocardiography, alongside a position on the advisory board for the HEU-EFS project led by Bocconi University. Szymański's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Akademia Medyczna w Warszawie.
