Roger Sturmey

Basic Science Officer 0 Special Interest Group Embryology at European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE)

Roger Sturmey is currently a Professor at Hull York Medical School and Fetal & Maternal Health, University of Manchester. Roger is also a Lecturer of Reproductive Medicine conducting research on embryo viability and biomarkers of embryo health. In addition, Roger is the Basic Science Officer at European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Previously, Roger worked as a Post Doc at University of York and University of Leeds, where Roger made important discoveries related to metabolic activity and DNA damage in cells. Roger holds a PhD in Embryo metabolism from the University of York.
