Christophe Moins

Christophe Moins is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and managing software systems for astronomical projects. Currently a Senior Back-end and Instrument Control Software Engineer at the European Southern Observatory since September 2006, Christophe specializes in camera acquisition and instrument control software for the VLT and ALMA projects. Notable contributions include prototyping microservice architecture for ELT Detector software and developing software for the VLT Crires+ upgrade project. Previous roles include Control Software Engineer for the Virgo project at the European Gravitational Observatory and embedded software engineer at EADS and Astrium. Christophe holds an engineering degree in Industrial Computing from INSA Toulouse, a Master's in Statistics, an MBA from FOM Munich, a diploma in Astronomy from the Observatoire de Paris, and a certification in Big Data Analytics.
