Ilaria Siggia

Ilaria Siggia is a seasoned professional in the field of asylum and international relations, currently serving as the Head of Sector - Quality Procedure & Tools at the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) since March 2016, focusing on the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). Previously, Ilaria held various roles at UNHCR from August 2010 to December 2015, including Senior Asylum Processes Officer and Protection Officer, and worked as a Project Manager at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in early 2010. Additional experience includes positions as Emergency Officer at the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Consultant at the Office for Development Cooperation in the Italian General Consulate. Ilaria holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Societa' Italiana per l'Organizzazione Internazionale (SIOI) and a degree from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
