Karolina Stasiak possesses extensive experience in international relations, having served at the European External Action Service from October 2006 to August 2023 in various capacities including Ambassador of the European Union to Zambia and Special Representative to COMESA, Deputy to the Director/Head of Division for Support to Delegations, and Deputy Head of the West Africa Division. Prior to this, Karolina was an International Relations Officer for the Great Lakes region at the European Commission from October 2005 to May 2010, and started a career as a consultant at Eamonn Bates Europe Public Affairs from June 2004 to September 2005. Academically, Karolina holds a Master of Arts in European Studies from the College of Europe and a Diplôme universitaire en intégration européenne from Université de Montpellier Paul-Valéry.
