Evi Farazi is an Associate Professor of Medical Research - Epidemiology at European University Cyprus, specializing in gender disparities in diet-induced liver cancer, mobile health interventions for cancer prevention, and survivorship. With extensive experience at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as both an Adjunct Associate Professor and Associate Professor, Evi Farazi has led projects focused on early detection of diet-induced liver cancer and reducing disparities in colorectal cancer screening. Previous roles include Associate Professor of Genetics at the University of Nicosia, Director of the Mediterranean Center for Cancer Research, and postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Evi Farazi holds a PhD in Genetics from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from MIT.
