Ria Shetty is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and resilience, currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security & Resilience for Mastercard in Europe since May 2019. With a strong background in digital solutions and cyber intelligence garnered from previous roles at Mastercard, including Manager and Senior Specialist positions, Ria also contributes to the European Women Payments Network as the Country Ambassador for Germany. Prior experience includes management consulting at Accenture, a project management role at Namaste India, and internships at BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, and Commerzbank AG. Ria's educational qualifications include a Master of Letters in International Business from the University of St Andrews and a Cyber Security for Business Leaders certification from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, alongside a BSc (Hons) in International Business Management from the University of East Anglia.

EWPN is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to building a community for women working finance, cards, fintech & payments in Europe. As the first and only Pan-European community for women, EWPN strives to create more opportunities for women and minorities, as well as being a champion for a more diverse and inclusive industry for all. EWPN does this by organising local networking evenings, workshops, annual events, awards and research, which all are welcome to be involved in. EWPN is 100% run by non-paid volunteers, guaranteeing that 100% revenue goes to operations and programmes implementation that serve the community.
