Igor Angelini

Igor Angelini is an experienced professional in law enforcement and financial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Advisor to the Executive Director at Europol since September 2019. In this role, Angelini leads initiatives aimed at enhancing operational police cooperation across the EU and beyond, promoting information sharing, and supporting investigations against crime and terrorism. Previously, Angelini worked at the European Commission, contributing to cross-border law enforcement cooperation, and held multiple key positions at Europol, including Head of Financial Intelligence and Head of the Terrorist Finance Tracking Program. Angelini's career began with Guardia di Finanza, where financial investigations and international intelligence cooperation were the focus. Angelini holds postgraduate and master's degrees in Data Intelligence, Economic and Financial Security, and Law from prominent universities in Rome.
