Martin Boer is a Senior Director at the Institute of International Finance since May 2015, overseeing global financial regulation activities and leading analysis on cyber security and non-financial risk issues. Boer is currently a member of the Financial Stability Board's FIRE Advisory Group and Co-Chair of the International Committee for the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council, both roles focusing on enhancing cyber incident reporting and critical infrastructure coordination in the financial sector. Boer also serves on the FinCyber Advisory Group for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Previously, Boer held the position of Secretary General at the European Financial Services Round Table and worked at ING Group in various senior roles, including EU representation and public relations.
