Vassilis Boudouropoulos

Vassilis Boudouropoulos has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Vassilis began their career in 2000 as a Secure e-Business Consultant at Deloitte. Vassilis then moved on to work as an Information Security Consultant at OTEplus in 2001. In 2002, Boudouropoulos joined Piraeus Bank as an Information Security Manager, a role they held for eight years. Vassilis continued their career at Hellenic Postbank as an Information Security Manager from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, they worked briefly as a Senior Information Security/Technology Professional as a freelancer before assuming the position of Head of Team - ICT Security at Europol, where they continue to work.

Vassilis Boudouropoulos earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Management Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London, from 1993 to 1996. Vassilis later pursued a Master of Science degree in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1996 to 1997.
