Joachim Steenstrup

Joachim Steenstrup has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joachim currently holds the position of Head of External Affairs & Strategy at Eurowind Energy A/S since January 2021. In addition, they are an External Examiner at Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole since April 2022. Joachim has also worked as a Lecturer at Aros Kurser since May 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Head Of Communication at European Energy A/S from March 2018 to August 2020. Joachim held the position of Chief Communication Consultant at Danske Bank from May 2016 to March 2018. Joachim also has experience in the renewable energy sector, having worked at DONG Energy as the Head of Strategic Supply Chain from October 2014 to May 2016, and as the Head of Communications from May 2012 to October 2014. Their earlier roles include Communication responsibilities at Radiometer Medical from March 2011 to April 2012, and as the Head of Communication at Danfoss Global Services from March 2008 to February 2011. Joachim started their career as a Communications Specialist at Sauer-Danfoss from May 2007 to February 2008 and worked as a Consultant at The Nation Group from February 2005 to January 2007.

Joachim Steenstrup has a diverse education history. In 1990, they attended Virum Gymnasium, where they studied as a high school student. Afterward, in 1994, they enrolled in Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen for their first year of economics studies. Following this, from 1995 to 1999, they pursued a degree in journalism at Danmarks Journalisthøjskole. In 2009, Joachim attended Aarhus University for their executive master's degree in corporate communication, which they completed in 2010. Finally, in 2014, they attended INSEAD for a short-term program in high potential management, focusing on business administration and management.
