Mariana Figueiredo is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Legal Manager for Portugal and Legal Counsel for Southern Europe at Eurowind Energy since October 2022. In addition, Mariana represents Portugal as a member of the Programme Standing Committee at the World Energy Council, a role held since May 2023, and co-founded Mulheres na Energia, contributing to the implementation team from January 2023. Mariana is also a board member of Future Energy Leaders Portugal, with a tenure from April 2021 to April 2024. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Associate at TELLES, an Associate at Miranda & Associados, and a Foreign Attorney at Mayer Brown. Mariana's foundational legal experience was gained as an Associate Attorney at Cuatrecasas and as a Trainee Lawyer at Vieira de Almeida & Associados. Mariana holds a Master of Laws in Energy, Environmental and Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston Law Center, a Master in Business Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and a Bachelor of Laws from the same institution.
