Eurowings is the Lufthansa Group’s low-cost airline and, as such, part of the world’s largest aviation group. Eurowings has a current fleet of 205 aircraft and specializes in low-cost direct flights within Europe. The German airline currently offers more than 210 destinations in over 60 countries around the world, making it the third-largest European point-to-point carrier. Last year for the first time, the airline flew more than 40 million passengers and its workforce grew to around 10,000 employees. The low-cost airline has 14 locations in Germany as well as in other European countries, and is the market leader at six airports.

The Airworthiness and Compliance team at Eurowings is responsible for ensuring that the fleet meets all safety and regulatory standards. This includes ongoing monitoring and auditing of maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and coordinating between technical and operational departments. Team members such as the Quality and Compliance Monitoring Manager and the Airworthiness Inspector work to uphold the rigorous standards necessary for safe and efficient flight operations.
