Hakan san

Hakan San has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries. Hakan began their career in 2002 as a Project Manager and Project Engineer at the Space Programs Office in the Turkish Air Force. Hakan then joined the Defence Research and Development Canada as a Defense Scientist in 2005. Following this, they worked as a Program Manager and Chief Engineer at the Space Programs Office in the Turkish Air Force from 2006 to 2012. Hakan then transitioned to the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, where they served as an Air Vehicle Production Requirements Lead from 2013 to 2016. Hakan also worked as a Contract Manager and Cost Specialist at the JSF National Program Office, TurAF in 2013. Hakan later joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Graduate Student from 2016 to 2018. Hakan currently holds positions at OneWeb, starting as a Technical Program Manager in 2018 and progressing to roles such as Senior Technical Product Manager, Principal Technical Product Manager, and Sr. Principal Technical Product Manager.

Hakan San has an extensive education history. Hakan began their academic journey by obtaining a high school diploma in Science, Math, and Language from Bursa Anatolian High School in 1995. Following this, they enrolled in the Turkish Air Force Academy, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aeronautics Engineering, completing their studies in 1999.

Hakan furthered their education by attending the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Astronautics from 2000 to 2002. Hakan continued their academic pursuits at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, where they worked towards a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Attitude and Orbital Control. However, their Ph.D. studies were in an All But Dissertation (ABD) stage from 2004 to 2006.

In 2016, Hakan pursued a Micromasters degree in Supply Chain Management from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Hakan completed this program in 2018. Additionally, from 2013 to 2016, Hakan attended the Defense Acquisition University to further their knowledge in Acquisition Program Management.

In terms of certifications, Hakan has obtained several notable accreditations. These include the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certifications from Scrum.org, with the former obtained in November 2018 and the latter in October 2018. Hakan also holds an AWS Certified Developer – Associate certificate from Amazon Web Services, earned in May 2018. Moreover, Hakan is an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer, having obtained this certification in April 2018.

Additionally, Hakan acquired the MicroMasters Credential in Supply Chain Management from MITx on edX in February 2018. Hakan holds a Salesforce Certified Administrator designation, earned in January 2018. Furthermore, in 2008, Hakan received certifications in DOORS Administration & Management, Requirements Methodology, and Using DOORS for Requirements Management from PROYA Professional Software Solutions and Consultancy.
