Katia Leconte

Katia Leconte is an accomplished engineer and system architect with extensive experience in the aerospace and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as the E2E Principal System Architect for IRIS2 at Eutelsat Group since April 2025, Katia previously spent over 24 years at Thales Alenia Space, where responsibilities included overseeing satellite constellation architecture activities and leading a team in aeronautical communications. Earlier roles at Thales involved system research and development, as well as managing projects for the European Commission. Katia began a career in signal processing with Syntegra, focusing on waveform simulation for satellite systems. Katia holds an engineering degree in Electronics and Satellite Telecommunications from ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile.
